PolarFlex

Armored Carbide Cutting Edges
The XT-500 snow blade eliminates the need to use a cover plate, or layer a second blade on your plow. XT500 achieves a higher level of wear protection with the built-in, 5/8 inch thick, AR500 grade cover plate shielding the carbide inserts. The cover plate overhangs to ensure proper protection of the Kennametal carbide inserts at a range of different attack angles. ‘Quick Check’ wear indicators allow for fast assessments of your entire fleets blade health. Available for a range of straight plows and V-Plows, as well as custom configurations. This blade is 100% American made, assembled, and distributed.
Curved Edge
The rounded snow plow blade reduces equipment and roadway wear with its unique shape. This edge pushes snow and ice off the road surface without cutting into the roadway, like a traditional cutting edge. Also known as a Mud Plow, the curved edge is perfect for snow removal on gravel and dirt roads. Maintain safe travel while limiting potholes and spring road maintenance.
Carbide Tipped Blades
In addition to the speciality carbide blades like Polarflex and XT500, we also carry traditional carbide edges. Carbide is inserted in to the base of the blade to give it a longer life than standard steel blades. This means fewer blade changes leading to more operational plows clearing the roads.
HighWear Wing Blades
Guaranteed tough 5/8” thick heat treated steel blades offer a high strength option for highway wing plows. This blade comes in 3’ & 4’ sections for ease of installation as well as full length options. Ultra hard, built-in wear blocks are added every foot to provide extreme toughness while on or above the road.
Sidewalk Plow & SnowBlower
We carry replacement and aftermarket cutting edges for sidewalk clearing equipment. These blades are available in steel, rubber and carbide tipped options.
Heavy duty edges, nose pieces, and shoes are available for sidewalk machines. Carbide insert edges, shoes and carbide embedded nose pieces available for the Trackless plows and blowers.
High Carbon Steel Blades
High Carbon Steel blades are in stock and available for every snow plow and bolt pattern. These traditional style blades will get the roads clear. Available in 1/2in, 5/8in, & 3/4in thickness in six or eight inch height.
High Carbon Steel blades are also often used as a cover plate for carbide tipped edges.
